Daniel Loder, M.D., is a double board-certified spine and orthopedic pain specialist and anesthesiologist. He has dedicated his medical career to improving the health and lives of others. He is an expert diagnostician focused on having his patients return to the activities they love using non-surgical and cutting edge therapies. A thorough evaluation of each patient's unique symptoms and conditions leads him to the most successful and comprehensive treatment plan. He treats sports injuries, accidents, and pain associated with everyday life. He serves patients at his medical office locations in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Long Beach, Westlake Village, and Torrance, California.

Background

Dr. Loder earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, graduating summa cum laude. He was awarded a full scholarship from the National Institutes of Health Medical Scientist Training Program to attend the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine for his medical degree. He completed his internship and residency in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was awarded medical student teacher of the year.

Professional

As an Attending and Assistant Professor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, he trained numerous residents and fellows in the Regional Anesthesia/Acute Pain Fellowship. Dr. Loder provides first-rate treatment and adheres to best standards and practices. He contributes to these standards as a member on several boards, including the Spine Intervention Society, North American Spine Society, American Society of Anesthesiologists, and California Society of Anesthesiologists. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles’ Pain Management Fellowship and is a current University of Southern California, Assistant.

Personal

Dr. Loder has experienced many injuries himself including a herniated disc and an ACL tear, so he can truly understand and relate to his patients’ pain issues. As effective alternatives to surgery, Dr. Loder uses the latest non-surgical options, including regenerative medicine treatments, stem cell therapy, PRP therapy, and traditional treatments. He answers all questions and explains treatment options clearly. He uses a multi-faceted approach emphasizing an individualized treatment plan based on each patient’s goals. His core values are empathy, education, and going the extra mile to get his patients back to doing what they love safely and quickly!

Dr. Loder is a life-long athlete. He has completed over 90 marathons, ultramarathons (including Boston and New York), and Ironman Triathlons. He is also an avid diver, surfer, and outdoorsman; but, most of all, he loves having adventures with his wife and three children in Manhattan Beach, California.
