MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST 

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist to become a part of our medical office team.

Daily Responsibilities Include

  • Answer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond to emails from new and existing patients
  • Schedule all new and follow up appointments
  • Transfer calls 
  • Respond in a timely fashion to all referrals and maintain documentation
  • Scan and file documents
  • Assists with billing questions
  • Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all doctor, staff, and patient information.
  • Complete other clerical duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is REQUIRED
  • Strong work ethic
  • Positive “Can Do!” attitude
  • Punctuality and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Computer Skills - including MS Office Suite programs 
  • Ability to type with speed and accuracy
  • Physical Requirement: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant who is responsible for scheduling procedures and appointments, performing clinical intakes, and various other front and back-office duties as required. If you lack medical experience, we are willing to train the right candidate who has a great attitude and is open to learn. 

Daily Responsibilities Include

  • Perform clinical intakes in person and over the phone; review patients’ symptoms and medical history
  • Record information the doctor provides regarding patients’ physical exam results, patient concerns, and treatment plan
  • Prepare results of diagnostic imaging studies for doctor to review with patient
  • Schedule patient office appointments and procedures
  • Coordinate insurance pre-certification and eligibility for procedures
  • Coordinate any necessary pre-procedure tests
  • Use CPT and ICD-10 codes to transmit and record information in EMR system
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies

Requirements

  • Ability to stay focused and organized in a fast-paced environment to ensure accuracy and timely responses
  • Ability to apply superior customer service skills in working with patients and other team members
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required
